I intend to show you a new way of collecting Pokémon figures. You’ll have the flexibility to change my method if you think another scene was more memorable in a generation. That’s right; I’ll be sharing two of the best Pokémon per generation, based on epic battles, legends, and friendships.

I’ll also share my ultimate favorite Pokémon from the first generation because I’m a nostalgic person, and no, it’s not Pikachu. My favorite first-generation Pokémon is Charizard. I love the yellow creature, but he has a place in the generational system. You see, I do agree with some of the other collectors. Classic remains classic.

How do you choose the best Pokémon when nearly 1,000 exist, and that’s just from the distinct species? It’s an almost impossible task for Pokémon fans. I’ve developed a slideshow collection to recreate a memorable moment from each generation. I’ll help you create a unique collection using the slideshow method.

I’ve been an avid fan of Pokémon since 1998, and I’ve watched the show, series, games, and anime evolve over the years. I chose one highly memorable moment or figure from each generation to create my collection, giving me two favorite Pokémon for each. My ultimate favorite Pokémon is Charizard and its attitude.

Your collection will be so unique that only avid fans will understand the display. You can also include Pokémon figures from your favorite moments instead. The point is for you to create scenes displaying unique duos. Additionally, I’ll stick to a budget of $100 to keep things affordable.

Advice for Unique Pokémon Figure Collections

As you learned, my Pokémon collection is different from the usual inspirations, partly due to my eccentricity. If the first-generation Pokémon figures mingle with the sixth-generation Pokémon action figures, it will make zero sense. How you display your collection matters if you use my slideshow Pokédex.

My most significant piece of advice is that you display your collection as a slideshow of memories. If Charizard and Eevee remind you of the first generation, put them on display together. The reason for choosing the two Pokémon together also matters. For me, it was an epic battle between them, so position them in a match.

Use glass shelves for each generation, and fix them to the wall with the chosen Pokémon figures in their positions. Allow your display to tell a story if someone walks past it. Put Snorlax and Roselia in a friendly position because they evolved through friendship.

There are way too many Pokémon figures to collect them all unless you’re only collecting a mansion’s worth of Pokémon action figures. Some Pokémon figures are rare, and others are easy to find because of how popular the Pokémon were in their generation. I inspired you to develop a slideshow collection.

I highly recommend adding classics, including my favorite Pokémon figure, Charizard. Go big with your slideshow collection and add the god-like legend with the Palkia Figure. You can’t skip adding the Pikachu Figure to your collection, and a bonus is that he fits into so many fond and cute memories.
