Demon Slayer Nendoroid Guide

I love Nendoroids and own most of my favorite anime characters in Nendoroid form. Due to this, I totally understand if you’ve been going crazy over the growing Demon Slayer Nendoroids that Good Smile Company has released for the past couple of years. As a matter of fact, if I were in your shoes, I’d start collecting them as soon as possible. Cause considering how quickly the fanbase is growing, you might miss out on the characters you like after a few months.

You must be thinking, “where do I even start collecting?” or “how many characters are available?” It’s normal to get confused since various types of Demon Slayer Nendoroids are already in the market. But, you don’t have to stay perplexed as I have all the answers to your Nendoroid questions. I’ll be listing down all the Demon Slayer Nendoroids, the exclusive versions, and the incoming releases, so you won’t have to sort through them anymore.

Let’s get you started on your Demon Slayer Nendoroid collection.

Bottom Line Up Front

You have to remember one thing if you’re planning on completing the entire line of Demon Slayer Nendoroids. The earlier you begin collecting, the better off your wallet and collection will be. It’s because Nendoroids, despite their tiny size, can end up as expensive or even more expensive than a scale figure when they become rare. It sounds ridiculous, right? A small figure that’s just 3.9 inches tall can cost 150$ or more.

I thought I’d never see something like that up close, yet I did in early 2021. Luckily, I wasn’t the one who was after a pricey Nendoroid. I was the one selling it. I sold my Zero Two Nendoroid to a buyer in my area for 150$ when it was going for 300 – 400$ internationally. Do you want to know how much I paid for her when I got her in 2019? Only 38$ since I preordered from a local store.

This is why if you want to be like me and get the most value for your money, I suggest that you buy the older Demon Slayer Nendoroids first since they’re the ones that are likely to increase in price. When you’ve gotten them off your to-buy list, you can work your way to the latest characters. After all, the newer ones will probably still be in stock for a few months.

Now that I’ve explained which characters you need to prioritize, let me talk about all of the Nendoroids under the Demon Slayer line.

Main Nendoroid Line

Ask any otaku what a Nendoroid is, and they’ll direct you to Good Smile Company’s well-known chibi-designed figures that are less than 4 inches tall. They’re made out of plastic and have detachable body parts and accessories.

1. Nendoroid Kamado Tanjiro

Nendoroid Kamado Tanjiro

This is the first version of the main hero of Demon Slayer, Tanjiro Kamado. Whether you’re a devoted or casual fan, you’ll immediately recognize Tanjiro’s iconic demon slayer uniform that he uses in the 2 seasons of the anime TV series and movie.

Release date: 1st release May 2020, 2nd release August 2020, 3rd release February 2021, and 4th release November 2021

SRP: 35.99$ – 55.99$

Rarity level: Low

Pros

  • The figure includes all of the parts you need to recreate Tanjiro’s most used Water Breathing techniques that he performs in the anime
  • You can enjoy Tanjiro with more expressions cause this figure has 2 additional official faceplates from the Nendoroid Face Swap line
  • Since the figure comes with lots of accessories and parts, you can pose him in various positions even if you don’t get the other Nendoroid variant
  • You can still get this at SRP since it was rereleased a few months ago

Cons

  • The figure may need more physical support when you want to display it in Tanjiro’s Water Breathing Second Form: Water wheel
  • Since the water effect parts are long and a bit heavy, some areas may bend after some time due to the weight

2. Nendoroid Kamado Tanjiro: Final Selection Version

Nendoroid Kamado Tanjiro: Final Selection Version

Are you a big fan of Tanjiro? Or simply a completionist? Then you can’t forget to add this exclusive Tanjiro Nendoroid version to your collection. This figure is of Tanjiro wearing his Final Selection outfit for the Final Selection Entrance Exam of the Demon Slayer Corps.

He wears this blue kimono with a cloud design to represent his Water Breathing technique teacher, Urokodaki Sakonji, in episodes 4 and 5 of the first season.

Release date: January & June 2021

SRP: Around 50$

Rarity level: Moderate

Pros

  • The figure includes a couple of flashy effects parts
  • Not everyone will have this Nendoroid since it’s a limited release

Cons

  • You can only do a few poses with this figure since it doesn’t come with many body parts
  • This figure may not get a rerelease in the future since the outfit that Tanjiro wears only appears in the first season

3. Nendoroid Kamado Nezuko

Nendoroid Kamado Nezuko

Any Demon Slayer collection will be lacking without the most beautiful little sister in Demon Slayer, Nezuko. This version is of Nezuko in the everyday pink kimono she wears in the first and second seasons of the anime TV series and movie.

Release date: 1st release June, 2nd release September 2020, 3rd release February, and 4th release December 2021

SRP: 35.99$ – 54.99$

Rarity level: Low

Pros

  • There aren’t any seams on the leg parts, making the entire figure look clean and classy
  • The figure includes Nezuko’s normal human and demon faces, so you can display the version that you want
  • The Tanjiro Nendoroid can equip the box accessory that this figure comes with, fully replicating the anime scenes where Tanjiro carries Nezuko
  • You can display this figure with more expressions cause it has 1 additional official faceplate from the Nendoroid Face Swap line
  • You can still get this at SRP since it was just rereleased

Cons

  • You can’t do a lot of poses with this figure since it only comes with a few body parts

4. Nendoroid Tomioka Giyu

Nendoroid Tomioka Giyu

The stoic-looking yet kind-hearted water Hashira of the Demon Slayer Corps, Giyu, will be a great inclusion to any Demon Slayer Nendoroid collection. This figure matches every detail of Giyu’s character design from the anime, including his messenger crow.

Release date: 1st release January 2021, and 2nd release November 2021

SRP: 56.99$

Rarity level: Low – Moderate

Pros

  • The figure comes with a backdrop so you can replicate his famous attack, Water Breathing Eleventh Form: Dead calm
  • You can display the crow accessory by itself or with a different Nendoroid should you want to, cause it has its own stand
  • The details of the figure and its accessories are so carefully done that you can clearly see the writing on one of Giyu’s swords
  • This figure has 2 additional official faceplates from the Nendoroid Face Swap line that you can use
  • You can still get this at SRP since it was recently rereleased

Cons

  • There are more accessories than body parts, meaning the figure can only do a few poses

5. Nendoroid Agatsuma Zenitsu

Nendoroid Agatsuma Zenitsu

Even if you’re not thinking of getting every single Demon Slayer Nendoroid, you can’t exclude the anxious and cowardly Zenitsu from your collection. He’s a crucial character that’s nearly always present in each episode ever since he showed up in the first season’s 4th episode.

Release date: 1st release October 2020 and 2nd release December 2021

SRP: 35.99$ – 59.99$

Rarity level: Low

Pros

  • The figure comes with several faceplates and effect parts so you can replicate most of Zenitsu’s scenes in the anime
  • You can enjoy Zenitsu with more expressions since the figure has 1 additional official faceplate from the Nendoroid Face Swap line
  • You can still buy this at SRP price since it was just rereleased

Cons

  • You can only do limited poses with this figure

6. Nendoroid Hashibira Inosuke

Nendoroid Hashibira Inosuke

As part of the central cast of the series, you’ll need to bring this gorgeous and wild Inosuke home for your Demon Slayer Nendoroid collection. Like Zenitsu, he has consistently shared the screen with Tanjiro since his first appearance in the 4th episode of the first season.

Release date: 1st release November 2020 and 2nd release June 2021

SRP: 35.99$ – 59.99$

Rarity: Moderate

Pros

  • You can bring to life many of Inosuke’s attack moves from the anime since the figure comes with his dual Nichirin blades
  • You can display Inosuke with more expressions since this figure has 2 additional official faceplates from the Nendoroid Face Swap line

Cons

  • The price for this figure will be a bit above SRP since he’s not as common as the other Demon Slayer Nendoroids

7. Nendoroid Rengoku Kyojuro

Nendoroid Rengoku Kyojuro

Do you love and admire the recently deceased Flame Hashira, Kyojuro? Then this Nendoroid is definitely a must-have for you.

However, if you’re more interested in collecting the ‘main’ characters, it’s honestly fine for you to skip him. Being dead, he won’t be appearing in more episodes past season 2. You might even forget about him if he didn’t make any impact on you.

Release date: 1st release August 2021 and 2nd release May 2022

SRP: 56.99$ – 59.99$

Rarity: Low

Pros

  • You can recreate several of Kyojuro’s pivotal scenes in the anime and movie since this figure has his most used accessories and effect part
  • This figure has 2 additional official faceplates that you can play with from the Nendoroid Face Swap line
  • The price of the figure has significantly dropped because of the rerelease in May 2022

Cons

  • You can only recreate 2 Flame Breathing techniques, First Form: Unknowing Fire and Third Form: Blazing Universe, from the single flame accessory

8. Nendoroid Kocho Shinobu

Nendoroid Kocho Shinobu

Are you a man of culture who’s fond of pretty ‘waifus’? If that’s the case, the Insect Hashira with a sadistic streak undoubtedly belongs in your Demon Slayer Nendoroid collection.

Although Shinobu hasn’t had as much screen time as Giyu or Kyojuro, I can verify that she’s a vital character that will play a significant role in the final arc.

Release date: January 2022

SRP: 62.99$

Rarity: Low

Pros

  • The figure includes all the parts needed to replicate her basic attack moves that you see in the anime
  • Even though it’s small, the paint on her butterfly patterned haori or coat is very detailed
  • You can still buy this figure at SRP cause it was just released
  • The figure comes with a backdrop

Cons

  • The figure’s sword might bend after some time if you display it with the effect part attached
  • The figure costs more than the other Demon Slayer Nendoroids

9. Nendoroid Sabito

Nendoroid Sabito

A fallen apprentice of Water Breathing Master Urokodaki Sakonji, Sabito is a spirit that trained Tanjiro before the Final Selection Entrance Exam. He was Giyu’s closest friend and had great potential to be a Demon Slayer before his untimely death. You won’t regret buying him if you’re like me and enjoyed his story in episodes 3-6 of the anime’s first season

But since Sabito is not part of the main cast, nor a consistent supporting character, he’s not as crucial as Shinobu, Giyu, or Kyojuro. In short, this figure isn’t necessary for you to have a ‘complete’ Demon Slayer collection.

Release date: October 2021

SRP: 52.99$

Rarity: Low

Pros

  • This figure comes with all the essential parts and accessories you see Sabito use in the anime
  • You can still easily find this figure since there are still stocks of this figure available at stores

Cons

  • It’s unlikely that this figure will get another rerelease since it’s an exclusive character, meaning its price may increase in the long run

10. Nendoroid Makomo

Nendoroid Makomo

In spite of her youthful appearance, Makomo is actually older than Sabito and Tanjiro. She’s also one of the fallen apprentices of Master Urokodaki Sakonji and failed to pass the Demon Slayer Final Selection Entrance Exam.

Like Sabito, Makomo only shows up in the anime’s first season to train Tanjiro for a few episodes. In other words, she’s in the same boat as Sabito and can be excluded from your buy list when you just want the consistent characters in the anime.

Release date: October 2021

SRP: 48.99$

Rarity: Low

Pros

  • The accessories she comes with can be used with other Nendoroids
  • The figure has been carefully painted, so most stocks are well made

Cons

  • This figure is an exclusive release, which is why its price may increase later on
  • This figure is too plain cause it doesn’t come with many body parts or accessories

11. Nendoroid Uzui Tengen

Nendoroid Uzui Tengen

Did you have a blast watching Demon Slayer’s entertainment district arc? Well then, there’s a high chance you’ve been caught by Tengen‘s charms and handsome looks.

You’re not the only one, though, as many fans swooned over him during the second season. Not only is he ‘husbando’ material, but he also plays an essential role in the series. For this reason, he certainly deserves a spot in any Demon Slayer collection.

Release date: November 2022

SRP: 64.99$

Rarity: Low

Pros

  • His weapons are detachable and can be used with other Nendoroids
  • The paint job looks clean and precise since the writing on Tengen’s swords are visible
  • You can imitate many of Tengen’s fight scenes with this figure cause it comes with kneeling parts

Cons

  • This figure’s SRP is the most expensive one among all the Demon Slayer Nendoroids
  • There’s a chance that this figure won’t get another release for some time since Tengen won’t be a recurring character anymore

Nendoroid Swacchao! (Sitting) Line

All of the figures under the Swacchao! line basically have the same design as the main Nendoroid line. The only exception with Swacchao! is that the characters will be released in a fixed sitting position. The Swacchao! logo even summarises its difference from the regular Nendoroids by including the words ‘sitting Nendoroid.’

I won’t be explaining each of the characters’ details anymore since they’re technically copies of the regular Nendoroids. Instead, I’ll be pointing out Swacchao!’s pros and cons, on the whole, so you can assess for yourself if you want to buy them or not.

Pros

  • Swacchao! Nendoroids are cheaper than a regular Nendoroid
  • You don’t need a stand or a base to display them since they’re in a seated position
  • You can still get the character you want in Nendoroid form in case the regular version isn’t available or has become too expensive for you
  • They’re worth buying when you’re after the individual parts, such as the faceplate, hair, and clothes.
  • You can buy the seated parts separately should you already have the regular Nendoroid version of the character
  • They’re ideal if you want to display your figures having a tea party, dinner, or in a similar setting
  • Their prices might not increase cause they’re not as in demand as the regular Nendoroids

Cons

  • You can’t play around much with them since they’re limited to a 1 position
  • They don’t come with any accessories or extra body parts at all
  • You can’t change their overall look unless you have or will buy other faceplates, and body parts
  • They may look stiff or awkward due to their restricted pose
  • They’re a bit pricey for a figure without any accessories. You just have to add 20$ to get the regular Nendoroid version

I personally don’t see myself buying any Swacchao! Nendoroids cause I like the regular Nendoroids better. But if you’re a completionist or plan to display them sitting down, you should definitely purchase them.

Nendoroid Doll Line

For me, Nendoroids are the best for small anime figures. Yet I can’t deny that I’ve been tempted more than once to buy a character from the Nendoroid Doll line. How could I not be when they’re just as adorable and customizable as the regular ones? Besides that, if you find regular Nendoroids lacking cause of their limited mobility, this line may be more up your alley. They can do all the poses that Nendoroids can and more. If I were into dynamic poses, I might have already given in and bought one at this point.

Of course, the Nendoroid Doll line is far from perfect and won’t be everyone’s cup of tea. It also has its own sets of advantages and disadvantages which I’ll be talking about so you can evaluate them properly.

Pros

  • You can change their expressions since they have the faces of the regular Nendoroids
  • The bodies have the flexibility of a ball-jointed doll, meaning you can display them in whatever position you want
  • They’re bigger than Nendoroids since every figure is precisely 5.51 inches tall
  • You can change their outfits since all of their clothes are removable
  • The heads can be easily cleaned with soap and water should they ever get dirty
  • The seams of the body are mostly hidden since they’re under the clothes
  • They’re easier to find since they’re not as in demand as the regular Nendoroids

Cons

  • Not all of the Nendoroid accessories will suit them due to the size difference
  • Since their clothes are made out of cloth, they’ll be harder to clean when they get dirty
  • They’re more expensive than regular Nendoroids
  • If any part gets broken, you’ll have to buy the entire body or outfit set to replace it

Seeing that Nendoroid Dolls are cute and extremely poseable, I highly recommend that you include them in your Demon Slayer collection. You’ll probably never get bored displaying them in different positions, especially if you’re the type who likes dynamic or creative poses. Just think of the countless scenes you can reenact with the versatile bodies.

As of the moment, Good Smile Company has only announced the incoming release of the following Demon Slayer characters in the Nendoroid Doll line:

Advice On Collecting Demon Slayer Nendoroids

I’m going to be direct with you about collecting Nendoroids from a popular anime series. No matter which Nendoroid line you pick, collecting Demon Slayer Nendoroids will cost you a lot of money. Even if you only target the characters you want, you’ll still pay close to 100$ for just 2 figures, and their prices will never go down. This means that you have to set aside a budget specifically for Nendoroids. Otherwise, you might overspend and mess up your expenses for more important things. Take it from me. I’ve fallen down that slippery slope of impulsive buying before, and I never want to do it again.

I still remember how badly I dented my savings when I began collecting anime figures. I was able to stay cool for the first year cause I was still trying to understand how things worked, like where to order and what the usual prices of figures were. But by the second year, I had managed to get my wallet in the red for a few months. I got too excited and bought some sought-after figures even when I didn’t have the budget for them anymore. Thankfully, I learned my lesson quickly and have had my urges under control.

If you don’t want to go through a similar wallet-draining experience, you have to go about collecting calmly and think carefully before purchasing anything.

Conclusion

Given that Demon Slayer is one of the most famous anime series, you won’t have a hard time finding Nendoroids of Demon Slayer characters. On top of that, since most of them have gotten rereleased lately, the current market is flooded with Tanjiros, Nezukos, Zenitsus, and Inosukes. Now’s the best time to put them into your cart and check them out at a reasonable price.

Moreover, since you’re just starting your collection, finding out how many characters you plan on getting should be your number one concern. Will you be concentrating on the 4 main leads? Or are you a fanatic who wants to obtain every Demon Slayer Nendoroid? Your answer will determine what your budget should be and how many Nendoroids you’ll have to hunt down.

Ultimately, you’re free to buy as many or as few figures as you want. This guide’s sole purpose is to let you know about the Nendoroid products in the market and their strengths and weaknesses. This way, you can have enough information to decide which ones will be worth your money.

Top Q&A

Question: Is The Demon Slayer Nendoroid Line Complete?

Answer: Probably not yet. No one can say for sure, as Good Smile Company doesn’t release any statement about how many characters they’ll turn into a Nendoroid from a series. But based on what they’ve done with other popular anime, like Haikyuu!!, you can expect them to keep producing new characters until the anime ends.

Question: Will There Be A Nendoroid of My Favorite Character From Demon Slayer?

Answer: There’s a possibility that the character you like will have a Nendoroid version in the future. Sadly, there’s no way for anyone who’s not part of Good Smile Company to know which characters will get turned into a Nendoroid. Nevertheless, with the way things are going right now, there’s a big chance that all Hashiras will get the Nendoroid treatment sooner or later. Some villains, like Muzan, might also be available as Nendoroids down the road, considering how popular they are with fans.
To increase your favorite character’s likelihood of ending up as Nendoroid someday, you can send a product request to Good Smile Company.

Question: How Much Will It Cost To Get All The Demon Slayer Nendoroids Available?

Answer: Whether you’re only planning on buying Nendoroids, Nendoroid Dolls, or every item I listed, you will have to shell out more than 200$ to start your Demon Slayer Nendoroid collection. The exact amount you’ll have to pay will depend on where you’ll buy them and how many you’ll get.
To have an idea, here’s the total SRP for the current Nendoroid lines:
The 11 regular Nendoroids cost over 600$
The 7 Swacchao! versions cost 220$
The 5 Nendoroid Dolls cost 327$
